Tom Hanks Film "Captain Philllips" ADR at Inch

Inch are proud to have engaged with Sony Pictures on completing dialogue replacement for a new Tom Hanks film due for release in October 2013. "Captain Phillips" is a true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years. 

The sessions at the Manchester recording studio "Inch" were linked in realtime to Goldcrest Studios in London who recently finished mixes for "The Hobbit" & latest James Bond film "Skyfall". As well as live duplex audio feeds, the transport of both Protools Systems in Manchester & London were synchronised via timecode. The director in London observed the session in realtime while the actor & engineer got to work in Manchester both ends monitoring the movie footage. The production & directing teams have a good pedigree of works such as "The Bourne Ultimatum" "United 93" and "Hunger Games".
