Inch are proud to announce involvement with the album "PAEAN TO WILSON" which will be remastered as limited edition double vinyl for "Record Store Day". A one off performance of the album took place back in 2009 at the Manchester International Festival for 3 nights only. Some of the promotional artwork used for those concerts will also be packaged with the vinyl version. The album was recorded & produced at Inch in Manchester & was composed as a tribute to Anthony H Wilson who helped shape & develop the cultural landscape of central Manchester & the world! Inhouse producer Keir Stewart co-wrote the album with Vini Reilly & Bruce Mitchell under the long term band name "Durutti Column"
Inch will tweak the mastered versions to comply with vinyl mastering parameters & re-ordered to make the most of the quality available on each side of vinyl. These changes will be made at our Manchester Studio.
There will be 300 made & will feature special artwork & graded pulp used for the sleeve is the same as used for the Joy Division album "Closer". (That one is for all you Factory Records geeks out there).
