"Treasure Trapped" Audio Post Production for Cosmic Joke - LARP Documentary

Feature length forthcoming documentary by Cosmic Joke explores the international diversity of Live Action Role Play or LARP for short.

Many locations, many different cameras, many different audio capture methods meant a lot of "tidy & clean" tasks to get the audio tracks working to a higher potential.

We used Protools, iZotope RX, Ozone, Acon Deverberate, DMG bundles, NuGen and Sony Spectral Layers to get this project better.

All processes took place at our Manchester Recording Studio & delivered as an XML to the client.

Government Radio - Voice Recording & public announcements

Our recording studio in Manchester was used to record announcements in public spaces including swimming pools and gymnasiums in the North West. Booked in by local authority communications department, it was an honour for us to do our bit for the community!

All edits, post production and mixing were undertaken in-house.

We used Neumann U87 microphone, AML's EZ1073 microphone preamplifier and 54F50 compressor - based on the Neve 2254.

MTJ Media use Keir Stewart for Robot voices for Surfwave video communication

Cartoon voices is something we can do here at Inch. The Smash Robot inspired character was recorded using a Sennheiser 541 Dynamic microphone then processed with Ring Modulator, compressor & modulated delay effects. ProTools & Waves also used to get the finishing levels averaging nicely.

Quartet recorded on location at the Welsh National Opera for Andrew Taylor

Location recording is one of the services we offer & used to good effect for this project. The beautiful treated space.

Andrew Taylor's quartet composition was recorded in the Chorus Room with 2 Neumann valve microphones, Electrovoice Re-20, AKG 414s and Neumann U87 microphones using Focusrite 828 microphone amplifiers.

All post production and edits were undertaken at the Manchester Recording Studios.

DB Schenker Voice Overs for 3D LTD video presentations

In the UK, DB Schenker Rail offers freight, infrastructure and passenger charter trains while DB Schenker Logistics operates all other services, such as land transport, air and ocean freight, contract logistics and supply chain management.

3D LTD were responsible for animating some fly-through proposed designs & layouts for new wheelbase designs andservice depot stations. All voiceovers for those animations were recorded at our Manchester Recording Studios.

This is the third time 3D LTD have returned to Inch Studios with projects of this nature.
